Step-by-Step
STEP 1
Start by heating a non-stick pan by putting in some ghee and oil (whatever you prefer).
STEP 2
Put the Makhana in the pan, and stir the pan continuously so that the Makhana doesn’t stick to the pan.
STEP 3
Continuously on low heat, fry the Makhana until they are golden brown or they start making a popping sound.
STEP 4
Once they are heated, take them out on a plate. Add masalas like pepper, chilli, salt, and Turmeric. To bring out the extra flavour.
STEP 5
Turn off the heat and allow the Makhana to cool. Store in an airtight container and enjoy as a guilt-free snack anytime.
